"Well, I might as well shower up before I head to bed..." I say to the mirror. I grab a towel and wrap it around my body and leave my room for the showers. The cool water feels good against my head. I think back over the events today. "This Zak, I am inclined to believe I know his name." I muse alone in the shower. I turn off the shower. "No point in fretting about it now." I sigh and dry off; after covering myself with the towel I head back to my room.

“That he is. Kinda wish he didn’t see me in the cafeteria tonight. Guy’s a total nut job.” I look back up toward the sky and find the mysterious bird gone. “You know I read about a Pokémon just like that. They say if you see the rainbow trail it leaves, it’ll bring you eternal happiness.” I scoff after I make that observation. “Then again, I was getting high as a kite with the guy who told me that. It was a good enough day when it was just us four-” I stop myself. “Five. Then Zak shows up.” I sigh. “Oh well. Anyway, I’m off.” I pat Matt on the shoulder. “I’ll catch you later.” I walk off to my dorm, grab some clothes and take a quick shower. I head to my room to lay down. As I stare at the ceiling, I blink slowly until I shut my eyes and fall asleep.

I bid farewell to Glover as he leaves and stare at the sky for a bit longer. eternal happiness huh? Well that would be nice, but how things have been going so far I'd be alright with just getting through the first week without landing myself in detention.

I go to put my overshirt back on and find I still have Lenyth's shawl. I guess I should probably go return that. I begin heading towards the dorms. I'll decide if I'm going to return it tonight or later when I get there.

When I arrive I go and knock on Lenyth's door, but don't get an answer, guess she's already asleep. I turn to head towards my room and stop dead in my tracks as I see Lenyth heading back in nothing but a towel.

While I'm annoyed that Frog's wasting his potential by not joining the team, his fantastic idea almost makes up for it all "That's a great idea! I doubt I'm as good at my sports as you are at Pole Vault but it's always more fun to train with a friend!" My excitement is interrupted by the loud snore of Ulna "Oh damn, I didn't realise just how late it's gotten. I need to head back to my room now but we are definitely gonna train together! Bye Frog, bye Dragonair" I wave to them as I depart back to my room.

As I walk back to my room, a giant flying pokemon flies overhead. I tilt my head back so far to watch it that Ulna slides right off and wakes up to a painful thud on the floor. He climbs back onto my head and growls at me for the rest of the trip back. When I reach the room, Lenyth's not there yet. Oh well, I'll see her in the morning. I get into bed (with pyjamas on this time) and let Ulna get comfortable next to me. I'm so tired that I can feel myself drifting off as soon as my head hits the pillow.

"Mr. Matt..." I was not planning on running into anyone, let alone someone I knew. I sigh to myself, well if I was worried about appearing childlike before, this will drive that point across. "My my, this is somewhat familiar." I jest with embarrassment, but there is no point in stressing out about it. "Although, you must be disappointed. What brings you here?" I smile, but I am trying to avoid eye contact.

"I uhhh, was just bringing you you're shawl." I say, doing my best not to stare, but I can tell I'm starting to blush "You forgot it in the cafeteria." Man, I'm starting to see how much more awkward this is from the other side now. I see why she was so off at first when we met, but wait. Did she just?

"Wait," I say turning and directly facing her "What would I be disappointed about?" I stop and ask her.

"Ah, my shawl. Thank you." Although, it is wrinkled, but I should not complain. "E-eh? Why should you be disappointed?" I instinctively look at my own chest. "W-well, most people tell me I look like a child. And you know, young men are more interested in...more curvaceous women..." Am I really explaining this right now.

Matthew

Man, am I really having this conversation right now? "Well, I mean while some guy's may prefer one over the other" am I seriously having this conversation right now???? "That is no reason to think one would be upset about seeing you, uhh, in your current state..." I can feel my cheeks turning red again, I start scratching the back of my neck again.


"I mean, yeah you may have a bit of a different build, but that doesn't mean you aren't an attractive young lady." Did I really just say attractive young lady? Jesus that is pathetic.

"My my..." I giggle, "I never expected to hear such praise from you Mr. Matt. Of course I appreciate your compliment." I go to take my shawl from him. "...but you know, it is embarrassing if you stare." He is obviously trying not to, but he is not exactly subtle when he is looking.

Matthew

"Y-yeah sorry about that" I say as I turn my gaze to the floor, still scratching the back of my neck. "Anyways it has been a pretty crazy day, I'm gonna head off to bed, see you later." I say as I turn away.

Before I get inside I manage to get back enough composure to turn back make one final jest at the situation. "Maybe tomorrow we'll manage to go the whole day without running into one another in nothing but a towel, eh?" I say with a weak laugh before opening my door and going in my room.


Man, I can see why Glover was feeling envious about how easily Page talks to girls like he does. Oh well no point fretting over the situation. As I start to change to get ready for bed I notice my overshirt smells far nicer than everything else I was wearing that day. Guess some of Len's perfume rubbed onto it when I wrapped it up. I finish getting changed then flop down on my bed where I think over the day's events until I finally fall asleep.
