“Not much man, you?” I get started on my plate of pasta and give a smile to everyone. My mind is processing a bunch of things at once: the first day of school, the music club, as well as some other stuff. For now, I’m just enjoying the moment, when all of a sudden the silence is broken by some guy who seems to know Glover. His roommate maybe? While Glover is chewing, this guy slaps him on the back pretty hard. Ouch. It seems like he’s okay at first, but when he tries to speak, he realizes something’s wrong, causing him to grab his throat. Oh shit, he’s choking! Calmly, I tell him “Alright G, I’m gonna help you out, okay? Just stay calm, bud.” I get behind him, wrap my arms around his abdomen, find his belly button with my pinky, and curl my right hand, my left securing my hand in place. I remember mom doing this on Uncle Tom at Thanksgiving, so I emulate what she did. After a couple of thrusts, it seems whatever was stuck in his throat is loose, so now he’s just chewing and coughing while trying to catch his breath.

Glover

That was close. It’s a good thing Strings came when he did. Still gasping, I thank my friend. “Thanks...man.” I take my seat again and direct my thumb to the culprit. “This… is Zak… my roommate.” Page isn’t amused, but he just sighs and takes a seat. “Hey man.” He greets Zak. “Uh, wanna join us, I guess? Pull up a seat.” Page rubs his temples, a bit frustrated by what just happened. After his small moment of exasperation, he looks up and smiles again, though it’s clear how uncertain it is.

Len

Have I heard that name, perhaps I have but I cannot remember. I am pretty bad with names if I don't have a face to associate them with. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Mr. Zak." Glover appears to be in some minor distress, but he offered a seat regardless. "My name is Lenyth, but if you would not mind, please call me Len." Mr. Matt also appears agitated. There must be something different about this young man.

Zak

"Woah there, sorry dude." To be honest, it was kinda funny seeing that guy helping him. "I'm glad to meet you all too of course! And yes, of course I'll take a seat." I grab a chair from an empty table, and pull it to theirs. I sit down, Murkrow still in my shoulder. "So, it seems that no one here knows me, surprising. For your information... I'm a dancer, and a damn good one at that."
I look at the guy with the guitar with a cold eye.
"So, you haven't introduced yourself yet, and you're the one I wanted to talk to." I grin a little,
I can't avoid it. "Nice guitar you have there, is there perhaps, a music club in this... Um, academy?"
It's hard to call it that considering how horrible it is, but seeing the good manners this "Len" has,
I should probably contain myself from swearing.

Crow
------

Just as I arrive, I see a... kid, screaming like he was famous or something, kinda lame, but he didn't look like he was joking, I should probably keep an eye on him for now. I move far back and lean against a wall. I can see him from here, he looks crazy, are kids with mental issues allowed in this academy? The sudden attitude changes and that white eye creep me out. I'll make my best to not be seen by him or any of the other kids at the table.

“It’s Page. And yeah, I’m starting up a music club.” This feign smile can only get me so far. And if he’s such a great dancer, how come I’ve never heard of him? Oh well. He compliments my guitar, but I know damn well that it’s as fake as the smile I’m wearing right now. If this guy joins the club, I don’t think I can imagine a worse fate, but I’ve been wrong before. Maybe I should give this guy a chance. He said he dances, right? Maybe, but I’ve met people that told me they could dance only for me to find out they’re as graceful as a Rhyhorn in a China shop. I just continue working on my plate.

Glover

Oh no. I hesitate for a second, but Page says he’s gonna be starting up a music club. This is certainly awkward, so I just take another sip of my soda. Hoping to relieve the awkwardness somewhat, I speak. “It’s fine, just surprised me is all. So Zak, what electives are you taking this year?”

He doesn't want me to join, does he. "You don't sound convinced, not enough members to make it?
Now, I can't play any instrument, so, if you ever want me to make a little performance and dance, just tell me." Then Glover calls for me. "Electives... Now that's quite the subject." I make myself comfortable. "I'm planning, on electric to start with, they are powerful, and energetic.
But, the one I'm looking forward to, is fighting. I don't think I told you, but, I'm experienced in capoeira, if you don't know what it is, it's a mix between dancing and fighting, and I focus on leg moves, kicks, plus, I love fighting. Oh! I forgot, I came here to eat, if you don't mind I'll be back in sec." I get up the chair with a jump, flip my hair revealing my green eye for a short moment, and start to move towards the serving table. What a bunch of weird guys. I sigh and laugh a little bit after. Ahaha... this is fun... can't wait till they know who I am! I raise my fists, Murkrow again mimicking me, raises his wings until I drop my arms.

Matthew

I watch intently as Page, Glover, and Zak have there conversation. I don't know what it is, but something about this guy's vibe doesn't feel normal. My interest is peaked however when Zak says that he studies capoeira and considers himself a fighter, however I'm also a bit annoyed at the fact that it means I'll most likely be sharing a class with this guy, and what was with that intense stare he was giving Lenyth?

I wait for him to make his departure before speaking up anymore. "Man Glover your roommate seems like quite the jackass." I turn back to see him throw his fists in the air, man this guy really irks me. I turn back to Lenyth and continue speaking "So, do you know that guy or something?" I ask her.

My hunt for empty tables unfortunately was in vain. There seems to be at least someone at every table and all the ones with a few seats free were full of people I didn't know. I return back to where Lenyth was sitting and see that the only spare seat on her table was just freed up by some guy leaving. Turns out Page is on that table too now. Great, it'll be easier if I know a few people there already. I sit down at the table shared by Lenyth, Page and two guys that I don't know yet. The atmosphere seems a bit awkward for some reason. Hoping that I'm not the cause of it, I ask "Hi Lenyth, Hi Page, is it okay if I sit here? There's not really anywhere else. I'm not taking anyone's seat am I?"

"Good evening, Chloe. I hope your day has gone well." I give her a smile, though I am sure it is not my best. Still it is nice to talk with her; considering the lost opportunity earlier. "You appear to have become somewhat popular." I tease her.

Once I enter the library, I notice no one's there. I sigh in relief. I can feel myself grow a large smile as I pick the other book off my bag. A Romance Novel... I look all around me to find the most far away place from the entrance in case if someone sees me. I close the door, and put a small criterium in the corner of the door. if someone opens it, I will hear it crack.
Now I step calmly and open my romance. Oh my god is he going to kiss her? I start reading more and more, faster and faster. I can't believe this is happening... oh sweet Arceus....

"Thanks, it's been going pretty well so far, how about you?" I return. I take her greeting as a sign that she's okay with me sitting here. Despite being roommates, we haven't really had a proper conversation yet so it's good that I have an opportunity now to get to know her a bit better. Her comment on my popularity though leaves me a bit confused. I can tell that she's hinting at something but I can't really think of anything today that's been worth teasing. "I do?" I reply, hoping that I might be able to work out what it is she's referring to.
