"Well, we hung out with similar people back in Nimbassa," I start my answer to Page "So I had seen her around here and there before, but we never really got the chance to talk our anything until an acquaintance we had in common hosted a, uhh, I guess you could call it a party of sorts." I stop for a moment to recall the events that took place that day.

"But yeah, some drunk slob was harassing her, and she pretended I was her boyfriend to try to get him to leave her alone. He didn't really like that too much and came over yelling at me, something about how I was a little bitch and he was gonna take my girl, I had no idea what he was talking about. Anyway's he drew a knife and lunged at me, I disarmed him and took him down, then she came over and apologized for the situation. That was the first time we actually met."

"So, what about you and Glover?" I ask turning to face him "You guys seem to go pretty far back, how'd you guys meet?"

“Glover and I go way back.” I begin my story. “Back home in Castelia… 2nd grade. There was some tool named Eric, the class bully - everybody hated this kid. So one day, he brought his Blaziken Mask action figure for show and tell, right? I get this bright idea to torch this punk’s stupid doll, so I sneak back into class during recess. Lo and behold, Glover’s there too, sliding his hand into Eric’s desk. Great minds think alike, I guess. Anyway, we snake this dude’s action figure and I decide to slip it into my backpack.” I chuckle a bit.

“Then when class is dismissed, Eric bolts out of the classroom, throws a tantrum when he finds out his stupid dollie is gone. Glover and I rode away on our penny boards back to his house and melted its face off using his dad's blowtorch. We were pissing ourselves with laughter, and that’s kinda how we became best friends.” Matt and I cross the street towards the academy. “So what elective do you have later?”

"I've got the fire elective next," I say in a half-hearted tone "although I only really signed up for it because I wasn't sure what to take for a second elective class, what about you?"

"I got Psychic next. I hope the teacher in there doesn't have sinister things on their mind like how to destroy my mind or something. Other than that though, it pegs me as interesting. Jeez, I feel like my mom and dad when they were still in their hippie phase. Grass and Psychic." I give a bit of a chuckle. "Like father, like son, I suppose" I comment.

"Pah, pah!" I spit everywhere to get the sand out of my mouth before I leap backwards with Achilles watching my back. I look up at this Chloe girl. "Anything you can do to say sorry?" I look at the Aipom. Ulna, huh? I pick off some sand and rub it. It wasn't too strong, and that Aipom really didn't look like too much of a threat, so maybe I could let this slid- WAIT, what if, what if that was exactly what she was baiting me into. Forgiving her, letting my guard down before she unleashed her true powers. I look up coldly at the girl. I stand up, wiping off the sand and then immediately looking responding,"No. No you cannot. But one thing you can do is get ready," I motion to Achilles,"Go."

"Heh, yeah well between you're guitar, personality, and your morning break with Glover I'd agree you're quite the hippie." I say in a teasing manner. "I think it is kind of odd though, you carry a flying dragon with you everywhere, but didn't take either of those classes."

At this point we are getting pretty close to the school. I can see it nearby. "So uh, I gotta ask, but why did you take us all being questioned on why we treat Len different than other girls as the opportunity to tell Sheena you have the hots for her?"

I rub the back of my head nonchalantly while giving a chuckle. "Heh, you're right. And about earlier, I dunno, said it in the heat of the moment, I guess. There was no way I would've gone through that without addressing the Donphan in the room. To be honest, I just feel like Len's on another league, so that's why I haven't dared hit on her so far. I'm a shit liar, so I'll just set it straight: I think I've got the hots for Sheena. No offense to Len, she's a great girl, but something about Sheena... there's something different about her that I like."

Something different about Sheena? I don't really get what he means, and I don't really care either way personally, just was curious on why he chose that of all times. "Well, hopefully Len will be alright soon enough."

I stop and look around a bit, I just realized Glover wasn't actually with us. "Hey uh, did you actually go somewhere without Glover?" I ask, "I mean, I think this is the longest I've seen you two apart for, we didn't ditch him in town did we?"

"Nah man, he never left the gym. I remember hearing him saying something about wanting to check out what Hyun's working on." Now that I think about it, Glover probably remembered that Hyun wanted to see us about the music club. Hopefully he's got something to tell me when I see him again. "And yeah, a lot of people back home saw us as inseparable. Going to the same parties, getting the same homerooms, similar taste in girls... yeah, we're best buds alright. That's why I was pleasantly surprised to find out he's coming here."

Phew, well that's good that we didn't just ditch Glover back in town. As we enter the gate and head towards the main building I notice a couple of girls with monkey Pokemon. One of them looks like the girl Page was talking to the other day, Chloe was it? The other looks like the girl I've seen in a few of my classes.

"Hey Page isn't that Chloe?" As I ask him I see the blue haired girl dusting sand off herself, she doesn't look very happy, and things look like they are getting pretty serious. I stop and watch to see what is happening.

Sheena

As I enter the cafeteria I look around for a bit trying to find something to do. I notice a warning is up about a snowstorm tomorrow. Seriously? It is so nice out today though, crazy weather huh? I keep walking and I notice Blake sitting at an empty table eating alone.

"Hey there, how's it going?" I ask as I sit down next to her. "You alright? You kind of vanished right before gym class."
