Other students start entering the room so I follow along with them and find myself an empty seat. I rest my bag at my feet and pull out a pencil and notebook just in case Duke has us taking notes or working on an assignment on the first day. I also notice some people grouping together. It was nice to meet those guys back in the cafeteria. It seemed like most of them knew eachother, well, except for Sheena who also seemed new to the "Group". I hope I can be a part of it, if it's even a thing yet.
I let out a sigh and wait for the bell to ring.

"I'm gonna be in the Dark and Water electives, as well as I signed up for the track and field team and the coordinator's team." I stop for a moment thinking about the flyer outside the homeroom door that I noticed. "I'm also thinking about joining that music club I saw someone is trying to start, might be pretty cool. What about you?"

As I await Len's answer I notice a few other students in the classroom. Huh there's that other guy that was at the table this morning, I think he said his name was Ty. I give him a friendly wave when our gazes cross. I also notice a couple of students in the front that look pretty similar, wonder if they're related. Whoa wait does that one have a red eye. Crazy to go from zero to two people I've seen in my life with red eyes in less than an hour. Well, red eyes that some eye drops can't help that is.

"Say uh, Len. Not to sound weird, but I've never met someone with red eyes like that before, is it a genetic thing?" I ask then realize how dumb that sounded. "Well I mean obviously it is a genetic thing, but you know what I mean right?"

Matthew

"Nah I just need somewhere to sit, this is a classroom after all," I say with a friendly smile "Besides I think we may of gotten off on the wrong foot." My friendly smile quickly changes to a scowl as I gesture to the foot she used to trip Lenyth "In fact I think it was that foot there."

I get a better look at her now that I'm properly up close to her. I can see why Glover found her attractive at first sight, but still guessing he dodged a bullet with this one. I back up again, at a lower volume so no one else should be able to here us as I face the front of the class. "Look I don't know what you've done or what you've been through, but from that scar I'm guessing it wasn't fun." I stop for a second, thinking back to my own scar and the events that passed on that day. "However I can guarantee I've dealt with people who've had worse and were capable of worse as well. So I'm gonna be as clear as I possibly can be with this." I stop and turn to face her dead in the eyes. "I catch you fucking with any of my friends again and you'll lose that one good eye, got it?"

"Help? I am not a lost maiden. I am, A HERO, plenty capable of doing things greater than you can even imagine, my dear Green-Eyed Penguin Grunt." I smile as I think of that name, sounds about right. I grab the chair he pulled out and pull it out of his hands. I take a seat and resume my position of scouring the internet and resting my feet on the desk as I resume the selfie I was posting to the newly founded, "Bellona Fan Club".

Green-Eyed Penguin Grunt? I laugh at her saying that. "Funny, no one dared to say that to me in
my face! The ones that dared to insult me... Are dead." I give a little chuckle, some would say it
was a psycho's laugh, I would say it's charming. Then I sit back at my chair next to her as before. "You know, I was teasing with the princess stuff. You're tough, I like it. But forget about the grunt part, that's not going to happen, and you'll know why eventually."
Then she pulls out her phone again. "Don't blame me if they take it." The teacher doesn't seem to mind much it seems, a shame, it would give me some points with her if he took it, I think. I put my arms behind my head and relax, I've teased her enough, I don't want to pressure her.
And now, to wait until class starts.

"I am taking Ghost and Fairy. I intend to participate within the art club and I should very much like to design outfits fro the coordinators. I was invited to the music club, but I have not come to an answer yet." Hmm, oh she is asking about my eyes. Honestly I am surprised more people have not. A somewhat mischievous smile creeps onto my face.

"Well, legend goes that one of my ancestors suffered a very great misfortune in her youth, and was blessed by a god. If you are one to believe that sort. If you wish to hear that myth I shall tell you later. But it is genetic, it generally affects the firstborn daughter of each generation and it comes along side several other traits. Of the two major traits, the first is this body type." I gesture towards my body. "The second is photographic memory."

"Oh dear, did I offend you master, fido?" I respond coldly, I smugly close my eyes. "Perhaps you go back to receiving scraps from that girl instead of harassing other students during homeroom."

"Huh that is pretty cool, guessing she only has the photographic memory then?" I say gesturing towards the girl in the front of the class with a single red eye.

Matthew

"Call me a dog all you want," I say calmly "At least my bark has the bite to back it up, unlike a certain someone who tucked tail and ran at the first sign of danger."

I tilt my head. "No, I do not know what her story is, but the genetic anomaly I am afflicted with is mutually exclusive with heterochromia." Still, I am curious. I had not been paying attention, but now that she brought it up. "I should like to ask her about it."

"The difference between a survivor and a corpse is knowing which battles to fight and which to flee." I respond in a matter of fact tone. "Better a coward that understands their limits, and a fool who is dead because of bravery. Now if you have nothing else, please stop bothering me." I'm unfazed by his threats. I wonder if he would fall through or not.

As Page and Glover enter the classroom, Glover gives me a wave which I return. For some reason, they seem a bit woozy in their walking when they sway towards their chairs, a few rows in front of me, maybe they didn't get enough sleep. The woman I assume is our teacher commands her Flygon to patrol the classroom looking for something. I'm not sure if we're allowed our Pokemon out of their pokeballs while in class or not so I quickly hide Ulna underneath my desk. As the Flygon wanders by, it gives me a suspicious stare. I sheepishly smile back, hoping that my face didn't give away any secrets. Seemingly satisfied that I'm not its target, the Flygon moves on and I breath a sigh of relief.

Alright it seems no one else is coming around, so I will start to call out for the name of the students, just to make sure everyone is here. So where did I put the list... Here. Well then. I clear my throat and speak loud enough for everyone. "Alright, I'm gonna say your names out loud and just say "present" If you're here. Easy enough, right? So first of... Antoine!" And thus I started saying all the names, checking each time I heard "Present".

I ended up not sitting anywhere, and just went to eat outside in the garden, seeing as I had time for that. Vik liked the idea too, we were both pretty fond of nature. In some way at least.
However that was a while back, and now we were all sitting in class, or the most of us at least. Maybe all, I'm not sure. I managed to find a lone seat, it wasn't my intent exactly but I didn't know anyone around and there were a lot of people who looked a little bit menacing, so I sat by myself for now. A lot of talk was going on, but it wasn't too loud for me at least.

I took one of the front rows. I was almost late, but our teacher who went by the name of Hyun I believe still let me in. He was a substitute. I answered with a clear voice that I was present as my turn came. Usually during this part people sounded surprised, seeing as my voice was one of the things I could be more prouder of. I often got told I could be a presenter or a voice actor maybe. I striked a wide smile as people looked at me when I introduced myself, it was a pretty relaxed smile, and it wasn't like I was trying to make a good first impression or forcing it.

The breakfast went on by swiftly, and I didn't engage in any talk with anyone. Did notice Matt waving at me at one point, and I did smile back at him for that. Whatever I ment by that, don't know. Anyhow, now I was sitting in class and waiting for it to begin. I was almost shaking in excitement. Let's see who we have here... Hmh, I don't recognize much of any of these people, except the guy whose name was Page I believe? And his friend too. Didn't know them well enough to wave or anything, that's for sure.

I left the cafeteria pretty early, and a little bit before the classes begun I opened the door so people could go in. However, before I could start the class I first had to retrieve the starters we were giving, I should've brought them over here much earlier but I had forgotten. Now I made my way back to my class, and I saw that everyone was sitting down already. I was pushing a cart that had all of the poke balls on it, but it was covered so no one could know what was under the cover, but they could take a guess for sure.

I bring that cart to the front of the class, as I bestow looks upon my new students. Wonderful.
I set the cart to a good, visible place and place my hand on it, as I look at the class with an excited expression. I didn't have any prejudices of the people I now saw yet, because I hardly based mine on their looks. ''Well, alright folks. I dearly welcome you all to Kobukan, and more importantly I can now say the school year has begun! My name is Duke, if that wasn't obvious by now. We'll start by a simple name calling'' I say as I call the names one by one. I had memorized all of them already, but just needed a face to attach them to.

I quickly chomped down my breakfast, and left the cafeteria quite fast. Good, the blue haired girl didn't seem weirded out by me sitting in the same table at all, but I did feel some stares from somewhere else.
I entered the class as one of the earliest ones, because I didn't want to attract any attention.
I took one of the back row seats, just so I could stay more unnoticed, and sleeping in the class was more easy that way too. Soon the teacher came around, and he was pushing some weird cart, Duke I believe was his name? He didn't look half bad, and to be honest now that everyone was settled in here, neither did the class. I was far from liking it, but it wasn't too loud or too quiet. I responded as it became my turn to say my name, and I said it pretty plainly so no interests could be sparked. Some people probably knew me already from the incident of Hyun scolding me.
