I can't help but feel for them a bit when they say Hyun is the teacher they're looking at having be in charge of their club. Not that I think anything is wrong with the guy as a person, but he's never been able to recover from Aerie's death. I can't say I blame him really, I know its rough to lose a loved one, and would be lying if I said I was completely over the loss of my father, but he only sems to be getting worse each time I see the guy.

"Music club huh, man I would of killed for one of those back in my day. Finally would of had a place to play at odd hours and not get yelled at." I say with a grin. "Feel free to put a couple up near the pool, it usually gets pretty busy in the beginning of the year before swim club practices begin."

Matthew

After kicking the balls around with Leo for about half an hour my ribs begin aching again. "Hey man, I'm gonna take off, talk to ya later." I say as I walk off, doing my best to not show any signs of pain. Oz follows behind, looking a bit worried about me.

Damn I definitely overdid it, even walking at this point hurts. I see that tree Oz and I practice under is nearby and begin to head to it. When I get there I lean back on the tree and slowly slide down into a sitting position with my back still against the tree staring up at the falling rain. I know I should probably head indoors since at this point even my wraps are soaked through completely, but the cool rain feels nice on my injury.

"I may have to sit out morning practice." I say to Oz as I lean further back and lay down under the tree.

Page & Glover (Page's POV)

I'm elated to get the answer I was hoping for. "Great!" I exclaim. As he hears this, Glover starts making his leave, presumably for the library. "Well, I guess I know where I'm going. I'll meet you there. And thank you, sirs." He pushes the door open and heads off. "I was wondering if I could have your names for future reference? Y'know, in case Hyun decides not to vouch for the club?" I extend my hand in thanks.

After gaining some valuable information, I head to the library. It's fairly empty when I get there, but the librarian is there, sitting idly at her chair, shuffling some papers about her desk. She sees me, prompting her to put a finger in front of her lips, reminding me to keep quiet while in her domain. I nod. I make my way towards the computer, open up a paint program, and begin drawing up a design for the flyer. This might take a while, but I'll make something.

I turned my head to the direction of her voice. "But... Is that what you really think..." I don't know much about Alli. Honestly, she talked more to Aerie than she ever did with anyone I knew. But I know that in this world, nothing is what it seems. "You know the saying. Those who laugh the most... are those who cry behind the scenes."

I can feel it, I must have the most bitter smile imaginable. Way to hit the nail on the head. I've cried more than tears. "...I'll admit to crying more than anyone could ever know. I've seen my fair share of colors; from black to red." Ah, that voice. That voice that no one is supposed to hear. That voice devoid of life or cheer, just bitter hate. I know Hyun and Aerie heard it once before, but now Sefi and Lily too.

"Coming here was the single greatest thing to happen to me you know. Being here I learned kindness, I learned that I can leave my room without being afraid. I learned..." I trail off, I still have enough control that I don't want to finish that thought. "I won't put words in your mouth, I won't pretend that I knew her better. I will say this though. You know. You know what she would say if she saw you like this. You know she wouldn't want this." I clenched my fists at some point. Part of me hates this, and it's not as deep as I thought.

I want to say it. I loved her too you know. The first person to show me any kindness since I can remember. And you're squandering her feelings, you're trampling on her memory. I want to say it. I want to...but I can't. I could never. I will not say it. "...Hyun, what will you do?"

My voice was holding out. Anger was building up.
"Coming here was great for me too. I learned what people are. How life was. I almost met no human before coming to the academy. Aerie taught me love. Mercy. she taught me so many things. She taught me what life was. But now, she's gone, and everything isn't as tasty as it was anymore. How can a loser like me still smile." I put my hand on my eyes, "I'm just an idiot after all. I should die in atonishment. But that wouldn't bring her back anyway. Nothing can bring her back."
My head hurts again. Everything hurts. My breath, my thoughts, and my heart.
"When I collapsed... I had another nightmare. Another vision. She told me that my time hasn't come yet. I also saw the Academy. A whole building was frozen as I was standing in front of it, strangling someone." I took a pause. "I also saw myself dead. This is just a possibility and based on what I heard from Aerie it was just one of my many futures. Maybe my head is tricking me, maybe my heart is unstable. But I need to live. For her. Yet...."
I put my hand on my face. "My heart doesn't want to. I am weak."

I want to run away, already things are getting too personal. I don't like remembering my childhood, praying for death everyday. My heart surely gave up back then, but I pushed on. I don't even know why, I guess I thought it was just normal. But then things got better for me. I don't know Hyun's past, but it boils my blood to suggest that someone could even begin to understand my level of pain. This wishy-washy attitude, it pisses me off.

I may have talked to more people than Hyun did, but I only had a couple of friends, and I'd never dare to tell them what I dealt with before school, or during school breaks. Not even Aerie, I can't even imagine the horrified look she would give me. I spent years creating this shell and mask. Everyone would believe the crappy excuses I'd make, or at least they'd never push it. I am so afraid of that place that I tried everything I could do to remain here.

"I can't force you to face your demons, but you do need to decide to do something. You cannot just mope around in indecision forever. Do you ever think that maybe things aren't getting better because you're trying to keep things the same..." I turn around and start walking before briefly stopping in the doorway. "...at least someone loved you." I leave before anyone can respond. What a super unfair thing for me to say. It's not like it's his fault, but you'd think someone would have noticed that someone was hurting before she died. Sefi might chase after me.

I take off running through the building until I get outside. I fall back on the grass and lie down. The air is clearing my head, and I can stuff this ugly resentful side of myself away. "I'll just wait here until she comes." I sigh. I should probably apologize to Hyun. I sit up and hug my knees. "Actually...he probably hates me now..."

I hear her footsteps slowly fading away. I sigh. I may be in a bad state, but my hearing isn't bad.
I move my head to where my pokemons are. Without a word, I know that Aerie and Elegy understood. Time to do something...well, to try something. The friend rose. Made from Aerie's Ice, with words carved on it. [Friendship is the same as love, and you are my friend. Always remember that.] Elegy used her telekinesy and went after her. "Good grief. Maybe if I rest... things... would be... Be-" Everything darkened. I'm going to pass out again.

Well, I don't know what I expected, but that got a bit heated. Clearly there's something deeper going on here. I look over to Sefi as Alli quit the room. I wonder what she's thinking. Hyun seems to understand, he made something? His Pokemon chases after Alli, but it looks like Hyun has fainted again. I walk up to him and make sure that he's okay. I put a damp cloth on his forehead.

"Well. That was something." I mutter mostly to myself. But it probably needed to happen. "Bubblegum, I need you to take this response to the lab." I pat her on the head. "This is going to be some year..."

The other one of them decided to go ahead, but the talkative one stayed. ''I'm Siel, and this guy next to me is called Kiri'' I say with a grin on my face again, pretty harmless looking one though.
Before he gets to say anything I fix ''Just kidding. Other way around. Nice to meet you guys, and hopefully you'll be able to get the club going. Heh, I wouldn't be surprised if Hyun wouldn't but he can surprise sometimes too'' I said and took my phone out of my pocket, and checked if I had any other messages. I suddenly hear Duke's voice, and see him approaching our table. Interesting.

As I was heading back towards the cafeteria, I actually changed my mind. I'll want to have a chat with the headmaster of the school, and I could use a little swim after that. Not sure how the pool was right now, but I trust Siel had been taking great care of it, so I was far from worried. Talking with Kiri and Siel could wait for now, although I did want to spar or even have a proper match with either of them at some point, maybe today but maybe later. Just like the old times, although I also wanted to see their strength to some extent. I texted Kiri quickly that I'll catch up later, and I have some other business now. Off to the headmasters office.

I made it in the cafeteria, and didn't take me long to spot Kiri in there. Just as I had thought. He was seemingly sitting with Siel and there was some student accompanying them.
I walked towards their table ''Hey all! Good day... Other than the overwhelming rain I suppose'' I said, with the tone of my voice dropping down a little bit towards the end.
Not too sure if they were up to chat, but I was so why not try.

Despite the heavy rain, I made it to the Cafeteria relatively dry, and as I walked in I noticed Kiri and the other teacher were still at the same table, but Mr. Andy wasn't here, which is pretty weird since he finished taking care of the Ariados a while ago, guess he had other business to attend to. There were two students that talked to them, but I went past them, no need to poke my nose into other people's business. I look around and walk straight for the PC, and type in "Associate Professor Brew" I wait for a second and hear a familiar voice answer. "Jason! Why didn't you call sooner!" I covered my ears a bit, I was way too close to the speakers, and that was a bit too loud. "I uh fell asleep all day yesterday. And an Ariados ate my room today," I answer back and she is about to answer back I continue,"Well, not room but it did eat all my snacks. And clothes."


She sighs,"I'll be sure to send some clothes there Monday. And also... the reason I wanted you to call is... your father and I have managed to save up enough money for the operation." My fave hardens, I know this means that Dragonair is gonna be leaving, from what I remember the doctor last said, it's quite a costly operation, and Dragonair needs a couple months to recover from it, meaning she would be staying in the hospital. Mom continues going on about what I need to do but I don't hear the exact words. She finishes talking and I just sign off, but stay at the PC, thinking to myself. In about 3 months time, Dragonair will have to leave. Its true I wanted her to recover, but I can't help but think I'll be lonely. I walk in gloom to grab a bite and take a seat at a table as I eat some Basculin meat food, feeling more sad than hungry.
