"Music...club?" I tilt my head. "I am afraid that I have no musical skill, vocal or instrumental." I am not sure why they would invite me, I feel like I do not even appear the music type.

Page & Glover (Page's POV)

I scratch my head and give a bit of a laugh. "We're not totally gonna require members to have experience with instruments per se, we're just looking for people who have specific tastes in music whom wish to express their opinion on their own or others' preferences. Kind of like a sharing circle. Not to mention I don't plan on making attendance necessary either."

Glover wipes his mouth and speaks up. "If you're getting ambitious, we don't mind if you sing or have an interest in certain instruments either, but really, all we ask of the members is to keep an open mind coming into the meetings."

Matthew

I finish redoing the wrap around my ribs, going over my shoulder every 3rd time around this time so as to help it hold better. After I finish wrapping it I carefully position it so that the sleeve from my vest will cover it as much as is physically possible. After I finish I return to the table where everyone has already started eating and begin join them.

Looking at my burger I quickly realize eating it with my hands would be nearly impossible so I pick up a fork and start to dig in. I'm immediately pleased with the burger I chose, and begin dipping my fries in the extra chili that is on the sides of the burger. I look back and forth between everyone as Page and Glover talk to Len about ehir new club, and see everyone else seems to be enjoying there meals as well, however I notice Lenyth is eyeing the burgers curiously.

"Want a bite?" I ask her, "I know it is far from the most appetizing looking food, but it's pretty good."

"I should like to think on your offer, if that is okay." I respond hesitantly. I do not know how I feel about this club idea, and I should wait until I am in better health to make a decision. Then Mr. Matt offered me a bit of his, erm, burger. "Um, well, if it is not too much to ask. I think I should like to taste a burger."

Page & Glover (Page's POV)

"No worries, give it some thought, it's still early in the year after all." I reassure Len. I notice Matt offering her a piece of his burger. Glover tilts his eyebrows, intrigued, and we both look at Len. I'm genuinely curious to see how she'd react to casual food - it's certainly a change from Eelektross caviar or Basculin tartar; delicacies that have an acquired taste and require a mature palette. Glover wipes his mouth before speaking. "Give it a whirl. You'd be surprised at the quality of the meat here: 100% Grade A Tauros beef." I nod and have another fry before turning my head in Glover's direction, feeling a bit surprised. "How do you know that?" I ask. He facepalms. "Gee, I wonder how I know that too" he says sarcastically. He points toward laminated words upon the window.

I cut off a some of my burger and stab it with my fork, then lean over and offer it to Lenyth. After she takes the bite I take my fork back and wait for her to finish chewing before asking "Well, whatcha think?"

Mr. Matt offers me a bite, if I am being honest, it is a little embarrassing. I immediately cover my mouth after I finish the bite, and begin chewing. It is an utter cacophony of texture. The flavor is not bad, but the consists of pretty much meat and tomato.

"My my, it sure is.............................de-cadent?" I try to put on a convincing smile "It sure is heavy thuough, how can you eat all of it?

Matthew

I laugh as Lenyth responds, I didn't figure she would be a huge fan of my burger in specific. "Well I live a pretty active lifestyle," I respond "I usually spend a decent amount of time a day training, so I tend to eat a lot to compensate for the energy I burn." I readjust my vest a bit as I say this, making sure its still covering all of my wrap it possibly can.

I take a couple more bites of my burger. "However I usually prefer eating a little healthier than this, probably going to need to run some laps to work this off when we get back."

Glover and I chuckle as we watch Len's reaction. Matt then explains that he lives a relatively active lifestyle and closes by declaring that he might need a good run to burn it off. No surprises there, guy's built like a Bouffalant. We all finish our food in good time. As we all lean back in our seats, satisfied, I raise up my hand to signal our waiter. "Check please." The waiter brings over the bill, and I scan the undoubtedly ridiculous prices for each of our items. The bill totals out to... 5572₽. Damn.

"Thanks for the meal, Strings" Glover says with a smile. "No problem ma- Hey! You're the one who took us here!"

Glover titters a bit. "Fine then." He curls his right hand into a fist and rests it upon the palm of his left. "You know the drill." Typical Glover. Okay, fine, I'll bite. "Best of three" I declare as I look at Len and Matt. Rock, paper, scissors... damn. "One-zip, baby. Let's make this a clean sweep." You wish, pal. We go over the cycle again. Yes! "This one's for all the marbles, guys." I'm not paying 5 and a half Gs for lunch. One, two, three... YES!

"Pay up, big guy" I say as I push Glover by the shoulder. I raise my fists in triumph. In an announcer's voice, I rub it in. "And the undisputed 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' champion of the world... Page!" Glover just shakes his head and rolls his eyes, unimpressed. "It was close. I'll get you next time, Strings, you mark my words." I let out a triumphant laugh. "Close only counts in Ponyta shoes and Pinap Berries, bud." Glover walks over to the counter and hands over his card and the bill to pay. After a quick trip to the restroom to wash up, I'm ready to go. "Let's make like a Spoink and bounce." I hold the front door open for the gang.

"Oh. Yeah, good point." I go sit next to Lily and accept the tea. "Although, I'm not sure what Alli could tell you," I say as I look through my bag for the Pokéballs, "I mean sure, she's perceptive, but, like, he didn't know anything? And he seemed kinda indifferent anyway. Which I guess it's kinda wierd, actually. I'd be stressed out or angry about it. Hmm. But he didn't seem not to care either, as he was quite good looking. Ah, here we go." I get the balls out on table.

Then, looking at Lily's expression, I realised what I just said. "Ahh, wait, no, that's not what I meant! I meant that he does care, as he wasn't, y'know, sloppy or anything!" I should've put more blush on today if I had to have any chance of hiding the heat filling my face now. I squirm in my seat, trying to find a way out of this verbal pitfall. "Like, it's weird right? It doesn't match up? I'm not Alli, no, but notice stuff even if I don't know what it means."

Nope, there's no good way out of this. Changing the subjekt "All right, you know what, let's get back to the matter at hand. I've brought Sierra, Naya, Rheese, Nicklas, Hank and Molly." I say, indicating a different ball for each name.
