Matthew explains the notebook, and it sounds pretty interesting to me at least. ''Oh. That's pretty cool, can come in handy no doubt. I like to train too, with my Bagon but I never considered using a notebook to track progress, not a shabby idea'' I say, now much more interested in the conversation.
As I await for any response, in the mean time I look around for a bit. There's all kinds of people here, that I didn't pay much attention to earlier.

I dropped a note on Duke's table, right in his office. He was still asleep, but I think he'd wake up in an hour or two. I could've texted him but his office was on my way so it was convenient as I was heading to my room, so I can catch some sleep.
The note said I wanted to talk to him later on, about a matter with a student and a shiny starter. And some other stuff too, but that was the main point. For now I settled in my room, browsed some things on my laptop for a while, and that would be the day for me. I had done pretty much everything that I had to and I wanted to today, so I could finally crash.
My sleeping schedule was weird as can be, but I loved it.
I laid down on my back and could feel myself slowly falling asleep. Sleep got me pretty quick, since I had been awake for a long time already.

I was currently in my room, chilling on the bed. I was done with all the other jazz, so I decided to do something that I wanted to. I picked a football that I had brought with me from my bag, and decided I'd head out to the field to play some soccer and freestyle around by myself. As soon as I was done with everything, I went outside, with the ball under my arm. Didn't want to juggle or kick it around as I was walking out in the courtyard since that'd attract too much attention.
Could use some practice or at least some physical activity, hadn't had any of that here yet. I remembered that today would be the day we get to choose electives and all that. And clubs, teams. I was never much of a team player or anything like that though, I preferred individual sports to be honest but those weren't much of a thing here.

I bash my head on the table set up in front of me as the last student currently in my line leaves. I swear these students never read Duke's pamphlets. Having a question about what a few of the clubs are about I can understand, but not knowing what the focus of study in the water pokemon elective is another.

At first I thought the student was being a smart ass, but when the fifth student had no clue about any of the electives I felt myself die a little on the inside. Oh well, hope he won't be too disappointed when he discovers his rock elective has nothing to do with music. I lift my head off of my table to see more students arrived, I call the next one up. There's no way I can deal with much more of this.

"Yeah it's a nice way to plan out my next training session." I respond "A bagon huh? That's cool, I haven't seen a lot of trainers with dragon types before."

I look around a bit and see Page and another guy chasing after the blue haired teacher that was scolding a student the other day. "So, you have any idea what classes and clubs you're going to sign up for?" I ask turning back to Diana

"Aha! Found ya!" I found Siel, being boring. A bunch of students stare at me from my outburst. I walk over to him and set my pack on the ground. I shake my head, throwing bits of water around. I pull my goggles down around my neck. I rummage in my bag for a second before pulling out his coat. "It might still be a little damp though!" I say unapologetically.

Siel

I turn as I hear someone shout and see Alli heading towards me. I may of just found my out. When she approaches she pulls out my jacket "One second," I say as I finish up helping my current student. At least this one understood the electives are about the Pokemon types.

When the student finishes up I put up the sign saying my line is closed and get up. "Hey I'll be back in a second." I say to the teacher next to me, as I walk over to Alii.

"Thanks for returning this," I say as I take back my jacket, its still pretty much soaked all the way through, put Alli doesn't seem like she got sick so I don't really mind. "Hey, can I talk to you about something?" I more say then ask as I put my arm around her shoulder and start walking down the hall away from the crowd of first years and other teachers signing them up for things, while continuing to make small talk with her. I ask her if she slept well and if she was feeling okay.

I was a little surprised by his reaction. "Oh? Oh ho ho?" I grin at him. "Shirking duties." I say quietly to him. "I slept okay I think. I got up after all." Must be tough, I never do any of the administrative stuff. I'm terrible with that sort of thing. "I just figured I'd give you your jacket back before I'm to busy later." Didn't think I'd be accomplice to weird stuff though. "Please be gentle with me." I tease him.

"No promises." I say slyly as I turn and wink at her, holding her slightly more tightly. I feel kind of bad for bailing, but not bad enough to actually go back and help. I am relieved to hear she is okay though, and glad to have my jacket back.

"So, busy day planned then?" I ask as we turn a corner and my escape from responsibilities is coming to a near.

"Yeah, headed inta town with Sefi. Hangin' out and shopping. What about you? What are you gonna do now skipper?" I playfully jab at him. For some reason people use me as an escape rope all the time. I'm not really sure why. "I gotta go get changed soon though, this gear isn't as water resistant as it should be." Not that I have a problem with that, just that everyone is gonna start telling me I'm gonna get sick or somethin'.

"Sounds like fun," I say laughing a little at her jab towards me "Well this skipper is going to be doing quite literally anything other than signing students up for electives, seriously I had a student ask if the rock elective was about rock music."

When we reach the end of the hallway I retract my arm from around her and dramatically bow. "Thank you for your assistance in escaping from the dastardly duties dealt upon me." I say to her, rasing my head to make direct eye contact. "Had you not come when you did I fear I would of never made my harrowing escape, I am forever in your debt." I give her another wink and stand up then start to walk away. "Have fun in town!" I say as I walk away and throw my jacket on. Damn this thing is soaked.

"Pfft bwahahaha" I couldn't hold it in, as soon as he was out of sight I started laughing. "Ahh, well guess I should go take a shower." And prepare, since I finished everything I needed to do already. That really didn't take as long as I expected. Still, I wonder why he was so flirty today, maybe staff work is his kink or somethin'. I open my door and grab the clothes from under my bed. "...might as well get this to laundry..."

I nod and smile shyly. ''Yeah, it's not that common of a type to have. Dragon types are usually really slow and stubborn to train up, after all'' I tell, even though Matt surely knows of this already. I hear a bunch of talk on the other side of the cafeteria, the more populated one. I don't focus much on that though, more so I'm into the conversation we have going for now.

Matt asks me about classes, clubs and all that which to I respond: ''I already know pretty well what I want, I think. As for electives, I'm choosing Dragon and probably Water, maybe flying but I think water'' after that I hold a brief moment where I think about what clubs or teams I might join. As I think I drum the table with my fingernails. I come up with an answer to continue some hefty seconds later. ''I was thinking that I'd join Track & Field and the Swimming Team. Honestly, I would like to get into the Racing team too, maybe even Battle Team if that's possible but I don't think that I got what it takes to make it there, or even will have for quite a while'' I tell, quite excited at first but my voice quietens down towards the end of the sentence.

To break the silence after that I continue: ''Either way, I like to keep myself pretty busy. What about you? What will be your choices?'' I then ask in turn, looking at Matt for a moment. Soon as I was about to turn away to check the clock, I couldn't because the scar on his cheek caught my attention. Didn't ask about it but he surely noticed that I was curious about it's origin.

I reach the field, and start doing my thing. I could almost say that ''I love'' playing soccer, but I think love is a bit too strong of a word to use. As much as I'm not into team sports, I think I'll probably join the soccer team. Just to keep myself up to par with exercise.
