(Conversation between Page & Glover. Posted in Page's POV.)
Page -----------
I stop playing as I hear a familiar voice calling me by my nickname, “Strings”. I look to see a dark skinned, curly haired boy. “Glover? Dude, what’s up!” I exclaim as we bro-hug it out. I remember when we graduated primary school, Glover told me he was going to an out of town academy, but I didn’t think he’d be coming here! “In the flesh, baby” Glover replies. I give him a pleasantly surprised look. “How’d you even get here? I didn’t see you on the bus yesterday.”
Glover adjusts his tie. “Mom and Pop took me here. I was real tired after touring the campus so I just knocked out when I got to my dorm. Which reminds me, what hall are you in?”
“Relic Hall,” I reply. “How’s your roommate? Mine’s pretty cool, and he’s got a pretty funny Pokémon too, a Haunter. He took my guitar and hid in the auditorium, but I got it back, man.” I show off my guitar with pride. I almost forget that Miss Lillith is still here. “Oh, Miss Lillith, where’s my manners? This is my good friend, Glover. We’ve been buds since we were kids.” Glover gives a salute. “Ma’am, a pleasure.” Remembering what I asked earlier, I noticed that Miss Lillith’s eyes shifted around the room for a bit, grinned a little, and mumbled something under her breath. “Oh, by the way Miss Lillith, Mr. Hyun doesn’t happen to be in the lounge right now, is he?” Glover scratches his chin and smiles mischievously. “What, you snitching on me now?” He chuckles.
I laugh. “Nah man, I’m trying to start a club. The music club, to be in fact.” Glover’s eyes light up. “If you’re starting it, I’m all up for it, man. Gotta promote ourselves somehow, right?” I nod in agreement. “Yeah, and I also got a couple of other students who might be down for it too.” Glover seems happy with it. “Cool, man. Say, there’s a tall, blue-haired dude that looks like he’s scolding those two students over there. You wanna see if it’s him?”
I scratch my cheek for a bit, remembering the fiasco between the two students the blue-haired man is talking to. I shrug. “Eh, alright.” I turn to Miss Lillith and bow in gratitude. “Well, thanks again Miss Lillith, and it was nice meeting you. Have a good one.” Glover and I walk away to follow the blue-haired man. I notice that the girl left the table and is shambling away. Wonder what put a Combee in her bonnet? Whatever. Anyway, we notice the blue-haired man holding the door open for his Pokémon. “Uh, excuse me, sir? You don’t happen to be Mr. Hyun, are you?”
