Blake didn't respond to my question. I can't really blame her or say I'm upset though, this has been a pretty uncomfortably personal conversation going on between us. I look forward though and See Hyun is pulling a case out of his desk. It is fairly large so I'm guessing that has our new Pokemon inside of it. I'm getting a little excited about it, but I can't tell if I'm more excited about the new Pokemon or classes being over for the day.

I'm bored, and students are not all present. Oh well. I stand up. "Since all the students aren't here, I should wait to give you your pokemons." I sigh. "However, I'm sure as I was a student here before, most of you just want the day to end. That's why I'm going to call someone random, and if he is present, I shall test him and give a Pokemon based on that. At least it's better than going blind."
I open up the container. "Alright, first of all, you probably know that, but your grades will also be related to your Pokemon. Take good care of it, and you'll get good grades. Ignore it, and you will get straights zeros. Treat him badly..." Ice is starting to form around me as I give my coldest smile. "And you will remember it for the rest of your lives." Ooops. There I go again. Better put off a warm smile. "But you wont do that, right? Anyway, first one is... Matthew Klavar. Please step forward to my desk."

"So you were in Steel elective too?" That's impressive. I didn't expect that to happen. Clubs, mmmh? I think I already chose the two I wanted anyway.
"I took Music and Track and Field. Looks like we'll meet even there. Interesting."

"I'm here" I say bluntly as I stand up and casually walk up to the front of the class. As I get to the front I notice it is a bit chillier up front than it was towards the back, probably just my imagination, I stand there and await orders on what to do next.

"Listen up, this is how it's going down. You're to walk up to Amber." The flygon waves at the mention of her name. "She will present two pokeballs to you. Pick one, and let it out. You are then free to go. Just know that tomorrow evening you will be filling out a small essay on your partner's personalities, likes, dislikes, etc." I sit down at my desk and pull out a pen. "I'm not going to call names, just get in a line like civil people."

I sit down just before he mentions that guy Matt's name. I wonder what Pokemon he'll get. I wonder what Pokemon I'll get. I'm pretty excited, today has been weird, but it'll be worth it for this.

Aerie is floating nearby him then hug his arm. Meanwhile, Aegis is scanning him. He seems impressed. I wonder what he is feeling. I try to focus like Despareus said. I feel something... but... is it?... My impression might be wrong. No. Without a doubt, he's like him. Who knew? That's interesting.
Aegis is now pointing at me one Pokeball and Aerie is pointing out the same. I grab it and give it to him. "Alright, Matthew. I hope you will treat him well."

"Thank you," I say as Hyun hands me a pokeball. I move off to the side so that he can go ahead and call another student up, then I let my new pokemon out of its pokeball.

A Tyrogue huh, well that is pretty neat, will definitely be able to spar with this guy, Oz will enjoy it as well. I start to contemplate nicknames for him, but decide to wait until he evolves since his different evolutions vary in not only looks but fighting styles as well.

"So am I free to go now?" I ask Hyun as I return the new Tyrogue to his ball.

After a bit of sulking, I’m relieved to hear that we’re getting our Pokémon today. Glover and I get up out of our seats and take our places in line. An essay describing my new Pokémon shouldn’t be too hard, just gotta get this little guy to come out of their shell. Guess I’m up. I take a ball, look at it with a smile, then back up to Lillith. “Thank you for the Pokémon, ma’am. I’ll take good care of it!” I give a bit of a salute to Amber and let out my new Pokémon. A Lotad, sweet! I crouch down and tickle its chin. He seems to enjoy it, and hops up and down excitedly on its tiny legs. “Hey there, little fella, I’m Page!” Gibson flutters off my shoulder and lands on top of the little Lotad’s head. He looks up to find Gibson perched on his head, but it seems like he’s in a good mood, so he continues hopping up and down, and despite the turbulence, Gibson looks like he’s having fun too. “Good to see you two getting along!”

Glover

I walk up to Amber and take a Pokéball. I bow in gratitude before stepping aside to see Page playing with Gibson and his new Lotad. I let out the Pokémon from my ball… it’s a Torchic! I have to give props to Lillith, the Pokémon she raised sure are happy. Maybe she has mother’s intuition or something, who knows. My new Torchic is excited, but is a bit careful around Gibson and Lotad. For a second, Lotad and Gibson stop playing rodeo to observe Torchic. They circle around her for a second, before Lotad decides to tap Torchic. “Lotad!” It cries out, causing Gibson and Lotad to run around, with Torchic happily chasing behind. Guess they’re playing a rousing game of tag. Cute.

Mr. Siel, as he introduced himself, was pretty cool overall, though he did pass out a quiz first day. The quiz itself was pretty easy, no advanced questions, but I guess I just knew this stuff from the readings I always did. I put down I would love to raise Elekid, before crossing it out, since I guess the family Electabuzz counted as mine. Hmm, so instead I put down that Pokemon I remember that Gardenia always mentioned, Rotom. As for my plans after the Academy, I drew a blank. *I* knew what I wanted to do after graduating, but I was in no way going to share that, so instead I leave in a terribly bad answer,"Catching all the Pokemon." I shrug before dropping the paper off. I didn't know whether Mr. Siel would see through the lie, but I left it at that and walked off.

After leaving Mr. Siel's class I groggily walk into Mr. Duke's class again. Homeroom is still mainly dead so I take advantage by plopping into a random seat and immediately placing my arms on the desk and burying my face in them. I was tired from having to follow Dragonair halfways across the school and back to even my dorm room, that now had someone else's stuff there as well, though the janitor hadn't cleaned up too well either, so there was still a bit of spiderwebs in my drawer. I push the thoughts out of my head and try to get my "power nap" in.



Bellona

I bolt past the boy writing me up. "Show me your hall pass!" He screamed as I hastily ran from him, jumping over walls and even climbing fences through the entire campus, until I was sure I'd lost him. I let out a smirk and walk into my next classroom, "homeroom" again? I took my seat towards the front, and silently watched as Pokemon were given out.

Siel

I start glancing through the stack of paper's on my desk. Most of the student's seem to have a good basic grasp on the fundamentals of electric types, however a few seem to be a bit short. I jot down some notes as I go through the papers and find one thing that strikes me as odd, but decide to dismiss it for now, no I have work to start now, so I make my way to my room.

Matthew

I get permission to leave from Hyun, so I decide to take my leave now. Normally I would wait to see what other people got, but I had better places to be today. As I leave I shoot a short wave to Blake. Still not sure how I feel about this girl, but it would be good to stay somewhat civil with her if she's rooming with Diana. Besides, I feel like on some weird level I can kind of relate to her.

Once I get back to my room I go through my clothes and decide what to wear this evening. I go with a gray v-neck with a black/white over-shirt. After I finish picking my clothes I head to the showers to get cleaned up real quick.

Sheena

I walk and talk with Diana for a bit as we leave class until we part ways to go to separate homerooms. When I get there I find Len has already taken her seat. "Yo," I say as I sit next to her "how was the second elective?"
