I nod and get up ''Better the earlier we go if you ask me'' I state with a slight smile. Page holds the door open and I go out as one of the first, and do a quick curtsy, thanking him for holding the door.
As I am out, I do remember that I don't have a jacket with me right now. ''Uh, I might need to go retrieve something better to go out in'' I say, knowing that my current clothing won't probably be enough for this weather.
I'm now back from attending to business out in town, currently in my room. I decide to drop a call to Kiri, and he doesn't seem to be picking it up. Knowing him, must be training then. ''He never changes'' I think out loud with a smirk. Granted he could be doing something else, but I don't thnk so. He'd either be at the Gym or the Stadium I assume, but judging the time it is right now I would believe he's at the Stadium. He prefers going to the gym latenight if possible. I quickly eat some food as I watch a little bit of TV in my room, then dress into something less formal than I usually do. After that I head out to look for Kiri. I'm hoping I'll be able to challenge him to a pokemon battle. I would like to measure his strength, or get some kind of an estimation at least.
I am running laps in the gym, and doing some sprints - meanwhile my pokemon are playing around. Seemingly I still have the whole space for myself, which is nice I guess.
I think I'm seeing a little bit of progress. Raika is starting to get more accurate slowly, although there is still much to work on. As I'm training with a few of my pokemon, at the same time I'm instructing some students here with their training. It always warms my heart to see eager battle team members practicing even on days like this, and I'm glad to be able to help them.
''No no, here you would have been better off had you switched out. It wasn't necessary to sacrifice your Scizor. His Bullet Punch which is priority would still have been useful, and he still had enough HP to be relevant. You could've just swapped to Houndoom to tank the Flamethrower had you anticipated it - no other skill of his mon would've been enough to KO Scizor. You need to get better at damage foresight. You're versing your sparring partner after all, should've known a little bit better what he was going for ther. Rookie mistake from a 2nd year'' I advise, surprised how bad of a move just cost one of the students this battle. I try not to be discouraging, but I don't sugarcoat the mistakes either.
I am but a simple minded guy.
RP is on hold for anyone wondering.
